Agreed, but only watched the first episode. Hoping to get to the second one soon.

I hung up for good 10 minutes into episode 2. You get the drop on a vicious terrorist who kidnapped your wife and just shot down your unarmed pilot in cold blood and you do what? You sit him down and have a conversation? At the very least, restrain him. (Jack would have put a bullet into each of his shoulders, then -- "Now, let's talk about where you've stashed this guy's wife.")

I'm done.

Yeah....I can understand that. Maybe if Edward's character develops a set. If he goes around doing the poor me schtick in the next episode....even though I like the historical chase.....I may be done with this as well.

See I love vengeance-seeking FBI-girl. "Well, I was a social worker until four years ago then I joined the FBI to get revenge."

Except you don't join the FBI to get revenge. You join the FBI to spend 14 hours a day listening to wiretapes of Achmed and Jamil bitching about lousy Huumus. Seriously, the FBI is not going to hire a social worker to chase terrorists.

Also, from the first episode when Edwards is going on the plane and she whines to come along. Uh, no. If the FBI thinks you're holding out info on the "world's number one terrorist" they don't beg you to let them come with. They take you into custody as a material witness and then sit your ass in a cell until you cough up the info or die of old age.

But that's in our dimension. And, as I said, this show doesn't take place in our dimension. Which is why I can ignore the various stupidities and continue to enjoy it. Much in the same way Arthur Dent enjoys Vogon poetry - through sheer force of will.

If I sat through all 22 episodes of The Event watching hacker-boy Sean and whiny-ass Leila, by God I can sit through this. I. Will. Not. Yield!

I was literally shouting to FBI girl: "Shoot him! SHOOT HIM!" (But I was cast as Dr. Evil's son and no one paid attention.)

What about the way that Creepy Eyes and wifestage seem to be able to teleport between countries. It sure it lucky that the wife had her up-to-date passport with her at the time of her abduction, isn't it? Of course, my idea is that in this dimension there a secret One-World government so passports aren't necessary.

That's what did it in for me. I couldn't deal with all the country jumping in the span of an afternoon.
