I really like FPW's idea of Jack hosting his own movie marathons and want do one too ... if I get wife and kids out of the house for a weekend or something Smile

Now, what movies do you suggest I rent/buy that feature Christopher Walken?
I know I want "Last Man Standing" in there and I think the last one I saw that featured him was "$5 a day".

What do you suggest?
Thanks!

Do cameos count? If so, then put "Pulp Fiction" on the list. I enjoyed "The Dead Zone", "Suicide Kings" and "The Deer Hunter". I saw "Communion" for the first time a few months ago- If you want moments of "What the hell am I watching" then go for it.

Quote:While serving as executive producer, author Whitley Strieber, whose experiences serve as the basis of the film, expressed concerns about Christopher Walken's abilities in portraying him. When Strieber finally told Walken that he might be portraying him as a little too crazy, Walken replied, "If the shoe fits."

Cameos ... I'd say no, because I want as much Walken as I can get Smile
BTW, I watched Pulp Fiction a few days ago (so much fun it's just insane) and I agree, Walken's piece is a must-see.

Thanks for the others, I honestly haven't seen those. I think. Maybe as a kid, but not recently.

Balls of Fury. Its insanely goofy, but Walken just seems like he's having so much damn fun. But really, anything with Walken is great and Alvin hit the nail with alot of great ones, I would also recommend Dead Zone.

Try The Prophecy....he's Gabriel the angel....and does a real great job with the role. I also liked him in Click.

Man on Fire, though not the star, still a good supporting role. Definitely The Dead Zone, he embodies Johnny so well in that movie, Joe Dirt his character in that is pretty good, Nick of Time he's the bad guy in that and is pretty good, I second the Prophecy recommend, to me he's easily the best part and umm Batman Returns, he plays one of the villains in that as well.

Some good ideas so far; a few more for your consideration are The Rundown, Scotland, PA., The Funeral, King of New York & At Close Range. And for good measure I'd watch all his SNL appearances-he's a great dancer.

True Romance - my most favoritest movie of all time. No wait, my favorite love story of all time. Yeah, what a great scene with Walken and Hopper.

Allright. I think I need to move my family out for a WEEK Smile
Thanks for the awesome list, guys.

All good suggestions for you, Mores. I'll second Kenji's choice as well. True Romance was a good flick.
