I agree, Lola. Pam is funny, evil and sarcastic all rolled into one.

Also...you are so right on here, Claude in the series doesn't match what I imagined from the books.

How about Hoyt? He has a death wish it seems.
Now with Russell on the loose...things are gonna heat up.

Hoyt looked like something from the Flintstones, for some reason. I think it was the colors. But yeah - he does seem to have a death wish.

Russell will make things interesting!

Well.....the season is over and the Authority is no more. Good riddance to them.....but now Bill is the big bad vamp.
I was happy to see Russell go. Nice touch at his final death cause.
Jason just cracked me up. Seeing his dead parents, getting all CTD like when rushing the hideout.
I loved Andy and his fairy momma to be. I think I nearly choked on a pretzel when she said her light broke. The scene stealer here though was good ole Lafayette. Drinking peach margaritas and spouting a funny line during the multi-birth had me rewinding to hear the lines again.

For next season:
More Lafayette...he's my fav.
I hope Luna survives skinwalking.
I hope Rev Steve gets staked.
More Eric...the less clothes the better.
I hope to see much more of pack master Alcide....oh baby!
Oh...now it's poor Bill....possessed by Lillith. My...my. So many possibilities. Smile

I hated this season and I hated the season finale.

Lafayette was awesome and it was good to see him back to his old self after the trauma he went through last season.

Too many story lines happening but not leading anywhere this season.

Nothing got resolved aside from the authority and Russell who was really just a plot device and not even the main baddie.

It was extremely disappointing that Russell didn't play a bigger role this season. He should have started showing fang much sooner instead of being just a party boy.

Bill...Ok, I can't decide if it was just bad acting on Stephen Moyer's part or bad writing, but I didn't buy into the "crazy" idea that the show was trying to sell. He's too manipulative and slick. He never really seemed like he was under the spell of anything except the idea of more power. It didn't help that he was starting to seem slick before this season.

The fairy giving birth scene was amusing but not really necessary. Seriously, MUST they create drama for every single character every season?

There are characters that I like (Jessica, Pam, Lafayette) but the bad writing needs to change. The writers should really focus on developing one main story instead of having twenty different stories all at once. I think that's a large part of the problem.

I don't know if I'll watch next season. I never cared for the big role of the fairies in the book series - it was fine when it was just the two but the fairy war just meant the beginning of the end of a good series. I really don't like that the fairies are now in the TV series.

Plus there's the whole issue of the distracted storytelling.

Why do I always do this to myself???

I didn't buy all the way into Bill just switching over, either. Even the explanation for it (vampire pack mentality) just didn't wash for me. And Eric's sister switching sides so easily after being a thoroughly entrenched sanguinista. It's like being a zealot-level pro-lifer to becoming pro-choice with a finger-snap.

Lafayette- always the best written character, although he was able to put aside his murdered boyfriend and subsequent corpse-theft and subsequent near murder at the hands of Jesus' grandfather.

I loved how the Andy the Protector thing played out and I loved how the mother completely abandoned the newborns to his care. But ultimately, the fairies are boring. All they can do is tickle vampires and throw humans so far they get hallucination-inducing bumps on the noggin. And this Warlow guy better pay off. What is he- some kind of vampo-fairy type?

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.
