I must admit to be just a little surprised that the AC has jumped out to a lead. I expected RJ to do that.

(We are lucky we don't have to, but if you did have to choose just one)For me it would be The Adversary Cycle. And it may surprise some, I wouldn't find it that hard to choose. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the RJ series and the LaNague seris (both with associated works). I am first and foremost a fan of horror fiction and the Adversary Cycle is what brought me to be the complete FPW geek that I am so that is why my choice would be easy.Anyone else?
What he said.I loved the Adversary Cycle. They introduced me to FPW, I never grow tired of reading them So I agree I love RJ too, but the AC will always have a special place in my heart

Even though I haven't read Nightworld yet, the AC is horror at it's best.

Wow, I would say other than Reprisal, Nightworld is the strongest and most horrific in the AC series. I haven't read the revised version yet, just the original. Man you are in for a treat.

I've gotten some hints, but the scenes with Danny stick with you, you know?

Oh man, yes I know. Some of the most emotion evoking (invoking?) reading ever. Yeah.

I said this before. My parents had an old rotary phone in their basement, it rang one day while I was down there. That long continuous ring that made me stop what I was doing and sent a memorable chill down my back. I replaced the phone the next day.

Haha. And anyone who has read that book would find your actions reasonable and well thought out.

It's a tough choice. I was introduced to FPW by the novel THE KEEP, and I've bought and read everything he's written -- that I can get my hands on -- but to me, what would define my favorite series is the one I reread most often. And that would be the LaNague future-fiction novels.
