Got back a little while ago from the Jeffrey Deaver signing. This man is so cool! The bookstore was packed. Probably around 100 people there or so. It was nice to be only 8 & 9 and got out pretty quick. Here's a pic of me with Jeffrey Deaver:

He said he has driven faster than any James Bond. Bond only went up to 125 or so MPH. He said he's gone 170; but made sure to mention that it was on a track.

What book would you suggest as a good starting point for Deaver? Is a lot of his stuff serial or are they mostly stand alone?
