Jeffrey Deaver signing! - Medusa - 06-19-2011 Got back a little while ago from the Jeffrey Deaver signing. This man is so cool! The bookstore was packed. Probably around 100 people there or so. It was nice to be only 8 & 9 and got out pretty quick. Here's a pic of me with Jeffrey Deaver: [IMG][/IMG] Jeffrey Deaver signing! - Kenji - 06-19-2011 Medusa Wrote:Got back a little while ago from the Jeffrey Deaver signing. This man is so cool! He didn't tell about it to us! :ooh: Yeah... that was before he publish Carte Blanche. Jeffrey Deaver signing! - Medusa - 06-19-2011 Kenji Wrote:Oh!? He said he's gone 170; but made sure to mention that it was on a track. Is it just me or does he remind anyone else of the smart villain guy from "The Princess Bride"? I have never read Deaver. May have to give him a try. Let me know if you want to borrow any. I have quite a view but I do not have TheBone Collector. I lent it out and never got it back. I recommend Rincoln Rhyme series!!! Bone Collector, it's a Lincoln Rhyme 1st novel. Quadriplegic Lincoln Rhyme abandons his forced retirement to track down a vicious serial killer. And then... In "The Coffin Dancer", Lincoln Rhyme is on the hunt for the Coffin Dancer. He's a brilliant hit man who changes his appearance. In "The Empty Chair", Lincoln Rhyme returns with an appointment at a renowned North Carolina hospital when the local police turn to Lincoln for help. "The Stone Monkey" is.....hm, you can skip this one. "The Vanished Man" is one of my favorite one! I highly recommend this. Lincoln Rhyme and Amelia Sachs must chase down a master illusionist they've dubbed "the conjurer." "The Twelfth Card"is.....hm, you can skip this one, too. The Cold Moon is the BEST Lincoln Rhyme novel! Lincoln and Amelia face the challenge of their lives as they race the clock to catch a killer known as the Watchmaker. Before you read this you should read "The Bone Collector" "The Broken Window",Rhyme and Amelia find themselves up against their most insidious villain, a man obsessed with collecting. The Burning Wire is also the best Lincoln Rhyme novel. When an attack is made on Manhattan's electricity grid, it seems that terrorists must be responsible. Before you read this you should read "The Cold Moon". I will have to give Deaver a shot. |
