Meh, I always preferred Picard, mostly because Patrick Steward is made of awesome.

Patrick Stewart is the better actor and his Picard isn't that bad. I do enjoy TNG, just liked the list. Smile

Hey, I don't recall Kirk being stabbed through the heart and surviving.

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

Both are fine actors. Shatner's a ham? You can only do what the writers write for you. See THE ANDERSON TRIALS. Shatner was nominated for an Emmy for his work there.

Acting aside, I think I'd have better adventures with Jim Kirk.

What episode is that from? New to me.

Though I'll always remember and love,

"Then let the Klingon and me fight! It may...amuse you."
"I begin to like you, Kirk. And I saw fear in the Klingon's eyes."

37. Kirk once made a cannon out of bamboo, sulphur, potassium nitrate, charcoal and then fired diamonds into the hearts of his enemies. (Need we say more?)

22. The Klingons didn't have a word for surrender -- until they met Kirk.

4. Kirk traveled through The Great Barrier, met God, and wasn't even impressed.

And maybe I missed it, but I didn't see on this on that list: "At Starfleet Academy, Kirk became the only student to defeat the Kobayashi Maru test, garnering a commendation for original thinking by reprogramming the computer to make the "no-win scenario" winnable." (from Wikipedia)
