Dave618 Wrote:I downloaded The Inquisitor a few weeks ago to my Kindle. Haven't got around to reading it yet, but the premise sounds interesting. Which is why I bought it in the first place.
Man, purchasing a Kindle has been bad news for my bank account. It's far too easy to impulse-buy as opposed to actually getting your lazy butt off the couch and schlepping to the nearest Barnes and Noble.

A terrific read, but does some funky narrative jumps which may not be to everyones taste. At 900+ pages and part 1 of 3, it's a post-apocalyptic epic
Here's an excerpt taken from the back of the book:
The Passage:
An epic and gripping tale of catastrophe and survival, The Passage is the story of Amy—abandoned by her mother at the age of six, pursued and then imprisoned by the shadowy figures behind a government experiment of apocalyptic proportions. But Special Agent Brad Wolgast, the lawman sent to track her down, is disarmed by the curiously quiet girl and risks everything to save her. As the experiment goes nightmarishly wrong, Wolgast secures her escape—but he can’t stop society’s collapse. And as Amy walks alone, across miles and decades, into a future dark with violence and despair, she is filled with the mysterious and terrifying knowledge that only she has the power to save the ruined world.
