For those of you who don't know, David Schow, Douglas Winter, and I recorded a commentary track years ago to coincide with Paramount's release of The Keep DVD. Well, Michael Mann aborted that and the track has lain fallow ever since. Now, with the film available from Netflix in streaming form, maybe we should make it available.

Question: Does anyone know where we could put up such huge files for sale? We're looking for a Kindlelike operation where someone houses the files, collects the money, and sends us our share. We don't expect to sell many and so the price would be nominal - just enough to make it worth someone's while.

Hell, burn out copies. I'd pay for one either way. And I don't even have a Netflix account.

Like Alvin I would love to see it, but as to howto market it..... (shrugs), no idea. Sorry.

Well, I've never seen one do THAT before

iTunes? You could probably do it through Audible, but they are a subscription service. iTunes would be readily accessible to anyone.

I would certainly buy it from Itunes, so that's one guaranteed sale.

I don't subscribe to either Itunes or Net-Flix, but I'd dearly love to have it on CD -- I might even buy a used VHS copy of the movie to watch along with the CD.

You could always just put an mp3 available here, somewhere. The only thing is that the movie won't always be available on netflix, as they cycle out unpopular movies regularly. And as we all know, it's not the most popular of movies.

The unofficial title is: "The Keep Commentary - or, Dude, Where's My Book?"

I'm with Ken on this, as a fellow non-subscriber I'd still like to have a copy.

I just LOL'd at my desk about this, and the guy across from me was like WTF is your problem?

I really, really want to hear this thing.

The funny thing about the flamethrower is at some place and some point in time, someone looked at something and thought, "Hey, I'd really like to set that on fire, but it's too far away."
