Saw there wasn't a thread about this series(at least according to search), and was wondering if anyone else is a fan of the series? I know it's not very good (:p) but it's sort of a guilty pleasure.

The first two were pretty good then 3,4,5 were pretty bad and I took a break from the series. I picked the series back up as the "Final Chapter" is coming out this week. I was really surprised by the 6th movie and thought it was very good so I have high hopes for the final movie. Anyone else looking forward to it?
Really excited to see the return of Dr. Gordan, I figured he'd be back as soon as Jill left a package at an unknown clinic in the sixth movie. My theory is Gordan was in some way helping Jigsaw on the medical end of some of his "tests". But mostly intersted in seeing what comes of the end of 6 between Jill and Hoffman.
I lost interest with #3. I didn't bother with 4 or 5. I've heard #6 was better, I suppose we'll see.

4 and 5 lost me. For some reason I decided to watch 6 anyway, and loved it. I've just finished watching the entire series again. I'm looking forward to 3D.

I also seriously doubt it's the last one. Why quit when they still make money?

From what I have read after the first one did well they had planned 8 movies in all, I guess all the movies have slowly declined in revinue causing them to end the series early. I figured them touting it as the "Final" one would actually bring in more money and cause another sequel, but I guess this movie completely wraps it up nicely.

Really looking forward to this being the finale. I am hoping it has a nice twist to complete the series and end it, I would be bummed if they wrap it up then force a sequel.

My friend saw it, in an SMS he said, "Film good, best gore yet, a must buy for me."
If he says good gore, it must be.

I liked the first one, think I saw the second one
(that had Donnie Walhberg and his son was in a safe?)
and I think i saw part of the third one when I was in the hospital in Iraq
(girl from 7th Heaven and a big dude throwing another girl into a pit filled with needles?)
The first was great because it was unique and I doubt anyone could have guessed the ending, but after that they all seemed to get silly.
On the second viewing of the first Saw I noticed the revolver wasn't loaded, hence Jigsaw on the floor could not have really shot himself. Little things like that were cool.
