Point taken Ken. But I assume the movie people know that almost everyone who has read the book will go to see the film. Even if they come out dissapointed they have still paid! As a case in point I bet most people on this board have seen the film of The Keep, but very few enjoyed it.

Cynical but realistic I think.

"John Carpenter's Vampires" was nothing like the Steakly book, "Vampire$," which was the basis for it -- but I went to see it anyway. One of the two main characters wasn't even in the movie.
