Having read Nightworld that might be tricky, in fact I fear the worse for her... not saying who her is, but you can guess. Would be a shame though, unless she is added in of courseBig Grin
This has been bugging me for a couple of days. Minor Web searching has not helped:

Are Mr. Ausler and Kevin* in any of FPWs other works?? For an 'extra' -- even one with lines -- he was treated with suspicious detail.

Help!

Thanks!!!

I am new to the forum and normally I wouldn't post something like this on a blog but...

Damn you, Mr. Wilson!

A cousin turned me on to RJ months ago and I ran through every book I could get my hands on. I started reading FE about 9:00 last night and just finished it (3:00 am). I absolutely loved it until I realized I will have to go another year before the next one.

For the record, Jack's line about setting a fire for a man... was the funniest line I've heard in awhile. Bravo Mr. Wilson for another great book.

:adore:

Welcome!

While waiting for the next RJ book, check out the 2 young adult books that show us a young Jack, which of course tie into the series. And there are also 3 short story collections with many of the stories connecting to the secret history as well, so you get these nice moments of recognition when reading the books. Check out the cross reference chart on the site to see how some of them are connected.

Happy Reading!

It usually takes me about 8 hours to read a Repairman Jack novel. By the time I started Fatal Error at work yesterday night (eight hour shift, 10pm to 6am, squat to do but sit in a box all night), I made it to page 125 before it was quitting time, and that was after finishing up the last half of the Zombie Survival Guide. I finished the rest of Repairman Jack early this morning and got about 110 pages into the second Gray Man novel, "On Target" by Mark Greaney (eight hour shift again).

On Target will be my 98th book of the year.

Explain perfect. It seems to me Jack feels complete with his ladies. :yesnod:

I thought that was what it meant and then I wondered if I wasn't reading "too much" into it.... loved it though!

loved the book. Set a new record for your books, finished it in 3.5 hours. I've generally taken a couple days with each of the previous RJ books.

And my wife tells me that I read too much!!! I am lucky if I read a third of that in a year.

However, I do agree with everyone's else's comments - FE was freaking GREAT and can't wait for the conclusion - even if it does mean the end of one of my all-time favorite literary characters.

So I'm not the only one who would really love to see Weezy and Jack end up together? LOL
