I'm just wondering where abouts during the young adult trilogy this takes place.

I also can't read that title without thinking of Scrappy Doo saying it.

It's not clear. The same piney kids appear in JACK: SECRET VENGEANCE but don't expect perfect continuity. (eg, Jack meets Saree for the first time in each.) I wrote "Piney Power" to tease YA readers into the young Jack books. Then I considered working it into J:SV but it wasn't a comfortable fit, so I canned that. But the piney kids served a useful purpose in the book.

Afraid not. The publisher has an exclusive on it for a year or so.
