Capo Del Bandito Wrote:True, but it was pretty abysmal too.

Constantine was horrible, but besides that I somewhat find the rest enjoyable, 300, V for Vendetta, The Watchmen, Sin City, I can't remember the name of the Vigo Mortenson movie but had something in the title to do with anger or something. I'm pretty sure there are a few others, but can't recall at the moment. There are a lot of movies that don't seem like comic book movies that most the time were based of something from Vertigo.

Supposedly they have had a tv show in the works based off both 100 Bullets and Fables, but I have seen nothing recently. :dontknow:

You're thinking of The History Of Violence with Mortenson. The Road To Perdition is also based on a graphic novel. Not sure if either is a Vertigo title. Fables could be great and I'd love to see Sandman adapted myself.

Yeah I think they said they were making it into a triligy but who knows if it has moved at all. It was great but I still haven't finished the comics :p. I hope to do that before any movie is released.

I hadn't heard about the possibility that they were making a film about it; it could be great. It was definitely one of trhe best comics I've read even though I thought the ending was a bit weaak. Who would play Yorick.

I also like Vaughan's Ex Machina quite a lot.

Last thing I heard it was supposed to be a Disturbia reunion of sorts with the writers of it doing the script for Y and for Shia Lebouf to play Yorik.

Not a big fan of Shia so it would be a dissapointment if this were to end up true.

I can't say that I'm a huge fan of Le Beouf(I keep waiting for him to try on a meatier role), but I think he could pull it off.

I'm pretty sure 300 and Sin City were both Dark Horse.

Capo Del Bandito Wrote:My y'all are a friendly bunch.

Thanks.

Youtube the trailer I guess? I'm not much of one to see movies in the theater (though I am making an exception for Solomon Kane if it's ever released stateside, It's supposed to be a faithful adaptation.)

http://www.toplessrobot.com/2009/12/solo..._4-eva.php

Trailer for *that* movie is there too. It's been released in France, but no one's picked it up for a NA release. Robert E. Howard is damn fine reading, and if this is as faithful as they claim, I'm all for it.

That Solomon Kane preview looks pretty promising. I just picked up a limited edition release of the collected Conan stories by Howard. Reading it here and there in between other novel length stuff I am reading. Got to love Howard and his bigger than life heroes.
