I was shocked when Sun and Jin had their moment. I was honestly expecting the sonic fence to be active.

I also thought the fence was active. But on watching a second time, the #2 scientist female said into the walkie talkie something like deactivate the fence, we have Ford and some of his people on the beach.

After all the build up for Sun and Jin's reunion it was less than compelling. Though the image of them running towards one another with the sonic fence in between them (representing MIB I would imagine) is pretty telling, just not terribly cinematic or pretty, as most everything else on this show is.

I still want to know who or what killed the other Ajira passengers. Was it Smokey/MIB? Locke's face looked as though he might have had an inkling when Sawyer told him about the killings after returning from Hydra Island.

I'm not sure, though.

I was flipping around last night on the HD channels, found an episode of LOST. The one with Charlie and Claire on the beach before Charlie and Desmond go for their boat ride. Charlie flashed back onto a memory of the family ring he was holding for his brother. I wonder where that ring is now. Anyone know? Does Claire have it?

Last I remember Charlie left it in Aaron's cradle. It sat there for the 3 years until the Oceanic Six came back and one of them (can't remember who to save my life) found the cradle and picked up the blanket in it and found the ring. Anyone remember who that was?

I thought it was Sun, when she and Lapidus and Ilana and Miles made it back to the beach after the Temple was destroyed. When did Kate get back to the beach after she returned to the Island?

Notice Smoke-Locke's shoes: they are tied from left to right, as if someone else had tied them for him. Now notice flash-sideways Locke after the hit-and-run: the shoes are tied from right to left, as a normal person ties his own shoes.

P.S. Does this mean the Locke vs. Locke showdown is looming as Terry O'Quinn hinted with a wink? And will the makers of LOST use CGI or The Patty Duke Show special effects when Locke faces down with Locke?
