Nothing I watch matches the brilliance of the Xfiles. The first season of Heroes came close though.

Fringe seems good, but I only watched a couple episodes...Anyone watch it?

Yeah, I'm watching Fringe. Pretty good for me.

And now, my favorite one is Life On Mars(U.S. version). Harvey Keitel is great!

I absolutely love Fringe. I can't watch it without thinking of Repairman Jack. Some of the stories are eerily like some in the book series. I love Joshua Jackson as Peter Bishop and think he would be absolutely perfect as Jack. Try as I might, I just can't picture Ryan Reynolds in the role.

Should have added Damages too. I think that show is brilliant and Glenn Close and Rose Byrne are amazing in it.

So Season 2 is underway and I was worried that it was going to be one of those shows that couldn't sustain itself for more than a season, but I had nothing to worry about, at least for one episode. Plus we got to see another side of Sue.

See I thought the exact opposite with the return. I was looking forward to it(not a huge watcher but enjoy it from time to time) but when it came back I was let down. It was still funny and the songs were good, but the story is the same as it was. All the relationships that were estranged and we were dying to happen that finally got together at the end of the first half of the season are all back to being estranged. Glee club is back to the same place they were just before the break, being in trouble and Sue wanting to take them down. It just seems that this second half of the season is pretty much a reworking of what we already saw.

Maybe its all about expectations. I agree that it is formulaic and not great drama but the primary reasons I watch are because it is funny and I like the songs. I am expecting to lose interest this season because eventually that will not be enough.
