There are two books coming out I haven't read? I've forgotten what happened in the previous books and will have to start over. My memory is not good.

TerrLight.com, is where I can spout off about anything. Visit. Link.

I was going to use all my Amazon X-mas money on music when I remembered Ice Men by Steven Spruill and I when I looked that up, I saw an FPW title in the-people-who-bought-this-also-liked section causing me to remember that Secret Circles is due next month so I looked that up and lo and behold, they've got a good deal on pre-orders at the moment.

You're going to love ICE MEN. And while you're at it, read Steven Spruill's SLEEPER (although it's printed under the pen name of Steven Harriman.)

The next Steven Spruill novel I have to get is PARADOX PLANET which FPW "mined" for an idea when he wrote DYDEETOWN WORLD. (It's in the acknowledgements for DYDEETOWN WORLD -- which I just reread.)

You know, Ken, I was just setting up Dydeetown World for Kindle and saw that mention...but for the life of me, I can't remember what I borrowed (with permission, of course). Maybe Steve will remember, but if you spot it, let us know.

With permission. . . .

That's why you thanked him in the acknowledgements.

I will.

It sounds like the two of you go back a ways.

I'm looking forward to it for sure. I read and loved Sleeper. In fact, I thought I had read all of his books but I'm pretty sure I'd never read Painkiller(I had no recollection of having read it while I was reading it)until last week when I pulled it off my shelf. His Hemophage Trilogy: Rulers of Darkness, Daughter of Darkness and Lords Of Light are some of my favorite books.

We both had our first SF novels published around the same time by the same publisher. We met at a publishing party back then and hit it off. We've been friends ever since.
