Nine Queens is a fav. of mine. make sure you see the origanal. i think it was remade? or maybe i read that they were thinking of remaking it. in any case it's worth reading the subtitles.

I'm not that up on recent movies, but a couple of oldies I'll watch now and again are ...

Horror- The Entity.

Sci-Fi/Thriller- Runaway.

They're nothing to write home about, but I like em.Cool

These have been out for a while, but perhaps you missed them:

Thriller/Horror: Orphan (unforeseen twist at the end)

Thriller/Horror: Last House on the Left (very gruesome, morbid, and disturbing)

SF/Horror: Screamers: The Hunting (nice sequel to the first part)

Horror well lets see... I've said it once and I'll say it again, Suspiria was a masterpiece. The murder scenes were iconic of what a horror movie should be and the music kicked ass. Plus Ill never ever get over the stain glass ceiling murder in that movie. Yes, Dario Argento Really does work some magic... It may be voodoo but its magic all the same.

Criminal is the English version, starring John C. Reilly. It's not bad, but nowhere as good as the Argentinian original.

I was at Blockbuster last night and couldn't believe I forgot to mention The Burrowers. (Western Horror)

We watched this one the other night.

It was set in the Dakotas I believe.....around 1890 or so. Good for some horror. I hated the ending.

Why limit, Paul? Check out Hitchcock's THE 39 STEPS again. Ain't that a thriller?
