Hell yeah. Congrats FPW but thank you for creating my favorite fictional character and storyline. Without it, I would have never gotten back into reading or began writing myself. I don't mean to put any pressure but it gave me the push I needed to get back into writing and for that I am forever grateful for Jack, Gia, Vicks, Abe, R, Glaeken and even Sandy Palmer who was always a fave of mine.

Anyways congrats sir and good luck on your future books I will certainly be there to buy them during their first week.

Excellent news. When do we get to find out where you're ranked? How many books are on the bestseller list anyway?
Tor/Forge says it debuted at 28th as of the end of last week (announced yesterday).

Congratulations, FPW, may Ground Zero crack the top 10!!!

Axioms Jack seems to live by (inadvertantly or not):

Why he does what he does: "I chose this life. I know what I'm doing. And on any given day, I could stop doing it. Today, however, isn't that day. And tomorrow won't be either." Bruce Wayne, Identity Crisis

On Rasalom: "Water's wet, the sky is blue...and good old Satan Claus, Jimmy...he's out there...and he's just gettin' stronger." Joe Hallenbeck, The Last Boyscout

I picked mine up on Monday at the book signing and I'm still only halfway through. I'm trying to savor this one. My speed reading curse seems to be backing off so I can enjoy this book. I'm loving it so far. Thanks for coming by Houston, Paul. It was great to meet you. I posted a pic of us in my "Album" (If I did it right, I'm not too familiar with the albums).

Is that me? I look like a Macy's Parade balloon.

here the list: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/04/books/...updateemb2

I've been in the top 10 with paperbacks, but the hardcover list is tougher.
