Damn skippy!
And I can't get over how good Tommy Lee Jones was as Jack's dad! Inspiring doesn't cover it.

Well, hell. I almost don't care anymore who gets the role, just so somebody does it in my lifetime. quigglemouth:
Well, considering I was the fool that said that filming would start before the end of the year on the poll I ran a few months back, I hope they choose someone soon.
I take it as a good sign that the producers are willing to buy-out Reynolds contract (or whatever) in favour of someone who will make the show a success...the only thing that gives me pause is that FPW's statement suggests that "good for the part" and "international appeal" are mutually exclusive concepts.
They do not need to be.
Jack = Sam Worthington (Aussie)
Abe = Robbie Coltrane (Scottish)
Gia = Charlize Theron (South African)
Julio = Jacob Vargas (Mexican)
Kolabati = Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (Indian)
Kussum = Akshay Kumar (Indian)
Westphalen sisters = Judy Dench & Helen Mirren (British)
Vicky = Canadian or American 7-9 year old
Directed by: James Cameron
How can a movie with this cast and director NOT have international appeal?
Heh.
