Drlazarus Wrote:FPW, you mention that you recorded an audio commentary to be released on CD when "The Keep" came out on DVD. Even though they haven't released it on DVD, I would like to hear it anyhow. I have an old VHS copy that I could sync up with the CD.
Perhaps it could be made available as a download from audible or I-Tunes. It would save on production costs (for a CD) and all the fans could get a copy.
Any chance?

And, you are a genius, BTW, Shad.
Best idea on the board in the last month, if not longer. Where do I sign up for one, FPW?

Maybe if enough of us ask for it, he'll make it available. I would love to hear it.

fpw Wrote:Well, it's on DAT, but it runs over 90 min. Wouldn't that be a HUGE file?It would be a very large .wav file (approximately 1GB, give or take 250MB) but at MP3 at 128kbps encoding it wouldn't be much larger than your average music album (about 75MB).

I'd offer to convert them but I never invested in a DAT component either for my audio system or my computers.

Britfan Wrote:Shareware version of software here to do the conversionI think the DAT that FPW is talking about is Digital Audio Tape...physically...not DAT computer files...he may have to record them onto the 'puter first.

Is there a good recording studio that encodes directly to MP3?
