Yeah, I've been watching it so far. I like it so far but I liked the first couple rookie episodes and the episode with the detective cheating on wife episodes more then the last two that have been about the black female detective and the guy who is taking the writing class. they've been kind of boring.

They have to establish the characters before we take off with other stuff. We have to know who the honest ones are, the fuck-ups, the cheaters, the ass-hats. Just like any other profession...lol

Excellent show.

It's an 88 magnum. It shoots through schools.

I have no idea what this show is about, but from what cobalt said and this statement by you I'm going to guess that its about cops...and not a very accurate portrayal either.

If that is the case, I was the same way with that show Over There. It was about a squad of infantry (and some support females) in Iraq. Totally jacked up in regards to HOW the military works and alot of the stuff was so blatantly wrong it was annoying...but after awhile it kind of grew on me and I ended up finishing the show.

I like Southland, it's a little unrealistic but it's just a TV show. It's entertaining at least.

Exactly!

Just like medical shows. When they fuck up on the show....I love pointing out the mistake.

I'm finding "The Unusuals" pretty interesting. Got some "Sounthland" episodes backed up on the TiVo.

I've been enjoying the hell out of Castle, which ended it's ten episode first season yesterday (Monday May 11). Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic have really good chemistry. And I adore Fillion's interactions with Molly Quinn, his TV daughter. Also, I'll be pissed as hell if this show isn't renewed, especially since it ended on an emotional cliffhanger.
