We all know Luis Guzman will play Julio.

I could see Sean Connery as Glaeken.

Jack: I don't know maybe this guy--->

I see Sal Roma checked his myspace page today. A little friendly with the monkey.

Too bad Sean Connery's retired and is having to much fun to come out of retirement even for an Inidana Jones sequel.

Also,

Really? I never knew that. I always saw Danny Trejo.

Negative.

Even as I watch The Chinese Connection Bruce Lee is like "Free Beer Tomorrow? That's funny Luis Guzman."

Welcome, Juan. You'll like it here.

Trejo is too old, at 65 to play Julio. Even Guzman is getting up there (he's 56).

I prefer Amaury Nolasco (played Jack Lupino in Max Payne). He's 39 and needs a series character in the movies as opposed to TV (Prison Break).

Axioms Jack seems to live by (inadvertantly or not):

Why he does what he does: "I chose this life. I know what I'm doing. And on any given day, I could stop doing it. Today, however, isn't that day. And tomorrow won't be either." Bruce Wayne, Identity Crisis

On Rasalom: "Water's wet, the sky is blue...and good old Satan Claus, Jimmy...he's out there...and he's just gettin' stronger." Joe Hallenbeck, The Last Boyscout

I was watching the SciFi show "Warehouse 13". Its actually not bad.

That said, I think the male lead in the show, Eddie McClintock, would make a decent Jack. He kinda has the look and i think he could do the humor.

Just a thought...

Looks like an interesting possibility...but he's 42 this year...Jack's only 35 in the Tomb...and only 3 years older than that in book 15...which probably won't hit the screen for at least 10 years after The Tomb (if ever).

So, if filming for The Tomb doesn't start for, say another 2 years, McClintok will be 44 playing a 35 year old. When the Nightworld movie rolls around, he'd be 54 or older playing a 38 year old.

That would, for me, cause continuity shock.

I've kinda been an age-Nazi on possible Jack characters due to the (hoped for) sequels...I think a younger actor (32-33) would be better, so that 10 years later, he's only 42-43 playing a 38 year old.

That I could suspend disbelief for.

Keep those ideas coming, folks.

Ok, Amuary's too tall. Julio should be about 5'6-5'8 (Jack states that Julio is shorter than he is...Jack is 5'10"-5'11."

Jacob Vargas (45), Luis Guzman (56), Cheech Marin (63) are all in that height-range.

Looks like Vargas gets the part...so-far.

Well, we can solve this whole problem easy and cheap! I'm 33 y/o. 5'10" 185lbs. Brown hair/eyes and athletic build. And I'm from new Jersey (not saying that means anything!)

Sign me up!!! HA!
