All of Rorschach's dialogues are very heavy and meaningful. "Humans get arrested. Dogs get put down". Oh, man! He's really cool...

Loved Nite Owl in the Graphic Novel. Loved Rorschach in the movie. Goes to show what a good actor can do with the right role.

I throughly enjoyed Watchmen, despite a few flaws that very nearly destroy the integrity of the film. Namely, Night Owl and Silk Specter's "intimate" scene. It was so badly done with such poor choice of soundtrack that I felt it marred the whole production. I hope it doesn't make the director's cut.

Other than that, it is a splendid adaptation.

Loved Rorschach in the book better than in the movie, but Jackie Earl still did an amazing job. Nite Owl was much better portrayed in the movie, IMO. He felt more like a real person to me.

It's an 88 magnum. It shoots through schools.

Finally saw this tonight (and sorry I haven't taken time to read all other posts in this thread if I repeat anything)

I thought it was a great adaptation, that didn't shy away from any of the issues in the original

And I actually thought the revised ending was better than the graphic novel, the big rubber squid would have been crap on screen!

Normally I hate to see a movie when I have read a book, this was an very pleasant exception

I thought the comedian was played excellently

I'm not a huge comic book fan, but strangely enough I enjoy a few of the movies. This movies was pretty good. I enjoyed it, and the fact that it was a much different portrayal of "super heroes." Which I would imagine is much of the point of the original novel. I would say that it is a better than average comic book movie for the viewers who have no knowledge of the original story. The special effects were great. It is truly impressive when a movie that you know the studio threw gobs of money looks the part when finally released.
