Thank you !! I've been trying to remember the title to that movie. I've been scared to watch it though, in case it didn't live up to memory. Hauer really was a B movie king for a while.

Murphy- "We need bigger guns" LOL, That's an enduring line!!

Thankyou, Wapitikev. I have been reading so much on the RJ forums I thought it was time I finally join the fan club here!

If you like Rutger Hauer movies, try Flesh and Blood, it has a LadyHawk kind of setting, but much darker in tone, pretty cool movie overall.

On another note, the Denzel Washington film, Fallen was pretty badass, a supernatural/horror movie.

Don't forget his best one- "SPLIT SECOND" with Neil Duncan. Try to find the German dvd or the Japanes. The U.S. version is cut by 5 minutes totally eliminating Roberta Eaton's role as Dick's girl 'Bobbie'. Great chemistry between Hauer and Duncan that was far better than the "Lethal Weapon" series!!

All this talk of Hauer, but no mention of A Breed Apart, one of my faves of his films. It'san excellent little thriller with Powers Boothe, Kathleen Turner and Donald Pleasance.

On a completely unrelated note, something made me think of An Interview With The Assassin starring Raymond J. Barry as a man admitting to be the second gunman in the Kennedy Assassination.

I mentioned this one a few weeks back but it's not getting the attention it deserves.

If I held a gun to your head and forced you to watch this movie you would fall in love with me. Some of it would be Stockholm syndrome and my incredibly magnetic personality. Most of it would be from the fact the movie is that damn good.

Quit pissing me off and watch it. It's on cable.

Ok....while I'm not gonna fall in love with you.....it's you I have to thank for the recommendation on this movie.
Black Book was great! We watched it last night. One of those movies that makes you laugh and cry. A good story that keeps your interest, while the twists and turns keep you guessing about where things are going.

I plan to see The Watchmen. I read the graphic novel long ago and don't really see how it could be a movie, but its appearance is good.

That's OK. Just knowing you and your FAM sat around last night discussing how cool I am and how all the movies I recommend rock is good enough for me. I've watched it 3 times since I first saw it last month. Can't get enough of that movie.
