Does anyone else love those fabulous little "Lost Untangled" recaps of this season's episodes? They're shown on abc.com. I think their hilarious and brilliant.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
You may quote me.

Last night's episode had me a bit confused at the end. If Sawyer, Juliette and Kate are on the sub...which left the island...how do they get back on the island as the previews show for the next episode? Do you suppose that the island won't let them leave a second time?

I'm not really sure on that, but I would say they some how get back on the island be that the sub goes back or they somehow convince them to take them back I'm not sure.

Tonights episode made more think that Locke is somehow linked to smokie or may be smokie reanimating him of sorts. There was the whole back and forth in the episode with Ben's judgement and with him knowing somehow that he had to go and save himself. And the fact that he wants to kill Jacob?!?! I'm a lot more interested in that aspect as the seasons coming to a close rather then the O6 trying to change time. I think Faraday dying proved that whatever happened happened it can not be changed and I think he relized that when he told eloise that she always knew it would happen. It just seems like there going out of there way just to prove that they can't change time.

I don't think the O6 will be able to change their fate. In fact, I think the bomb they are planning to use to stop the hatch incident just makes it worse. The volcano that Maggers has forecast will come into play as well I'd bet.

As to Faraday dying...his mother was almost hesitant now that I think of it. I thought her emotion was empathy for his sickness and poor memory...but it was really sadness for sending him to his death. A death that she caused.

Why would Locke want to kill Jacob? I thought Jacob was a manifestation of Cerberus/the smoke monster? OK, now I'm confused.

I'm confused to. I've kind of always that that Jacob was more the embodiment of the Island itself. And more lately i've been thinking Christian and Locke(two people we know were dead and all of a sudden are alive on the island) are more manifestations of the smoke monster.

Also Cobalt I agree about Eloise' sadness, that's what did it for me on the whatever happens happens idea. I think whatever happens is very important to what will happen, but at the same time I think it has already happened in the past in current time.(not happening for the first time in the 70's) if this makes since :dontknow:

Gotta spread the wealth from other forums...

Jughead is the cause of the fertility problems.

The opening scene all but confirmed that Alpert arrived on Black Rock.

Who is Jughead?

Jughead is the leaky hydrogen bomb that's been kept under the barracks.
