I'd flip out if they ended with some Dark tower like ending. Big Grin

That would be bad, so very bad.

This has probably been said already but I think Richard is the island personified. That's why he never ages. I don't think we'll find out his deal for a while yet. But I can't wait until tomorrow night!:adore:

Fathoming circular thinking while tired is tough....lol But, the island seems to need certain people on it to function properly it appears. Whether it's the Dharma era or the time of The Others or the crash victims. Where all this is headed....I'm not sure. But anytime there are too many people for the forces of the island to handle, lots of people die. But people with certain "talent" are essential to the well being of that island....as if it's an entity that needs something from those on it. Just the rambles of my tired mind. If I'm wrong....meh.

I've thought some about this but then I wonder who is Jacob. I always kind of figure Jacob as the island. But who knows, maybe the island needs Richard so it keeps him the same age. Sort of how it heals people it just works overtime on him to keep him the same age. If this is true what does it need him for?

Saw a post on another site and thought I would post it here to see what people thought. Someone talked about the polar bear that is found in the dessert by the red headed woman that I cant remember her name right now. But that location and the location where ben is transported after turning the wheel is sort of similar and was thinking what if someone with dharma or maybe whidmore(maybe how he got off the island) turned the wheel with the bear in the room with the wheel. I'm leening more toward Dharma as they would be more likely to test a wheel by turning it with an animal inside the room. Also if this is how whidmore got off the island(maybe he was made to turn the wheel to save the island) that he's angry that he hasnt been able to get back to the island and feels some sort of self intitlement as to why he says the island doesnt belong to ben and such.

To go to the mainland to find "special" people like it did with Locke? Yeah, I'm really stumped on the Jacob thing too. Sometimes this show makes my head hurt.

Something crazy/weird that I saw in another forum was Penny and Desmond's son, Charlie. With all of the jumping around in time, and with Penny, Desmond and Charlie presumably on their way back to the island, is it possible for Desmond's son Charlie to grow up in the past and become either Charlie Pace or Charles Widmore? That's Penny's dad Charles.

An endless cycle where Penny gives birth to her dad?

Or

Desmond watching his son drown so he can be reunited with Penny in order to conceive Charlie?

Or

Little baby Charlie has nothing to do with Charlie Pace or Charles Widmore.

I've seen something sort of like this with it being Charlie on the island but I think its nothing more than him naming him after the lostie. It would be a little stretching it if it went that far I think.
