With the possibility of a prequel to The Keep, it would be cool to see an expanded, signed, and limited hardcover release of Demonsong.

The signed/limited chapbooks always seem to sell well on Ebay (I keep getting outbid). The Little Beige Books always sell well too (lucky I bought mine from BP). I'm sure an expanded version, if published similar to TPOTC&OE or The Last Rakosh, signed and limited, would sell like hairspray on prom night.

...and Heroic Fantasy (the original publication of Demonsong with the uncorrected name of Rosalam throughout) is as rare as hen's teeth...apparently I lucked out BIGTIME when I got mine on e-bay for $8, last winter.

It would be good to get another reprint-run out there, once again...after all, the world is supposed to end in 2012 and FPW may not have time to re-write "Demonsong" into his prequel trilogy before then.

Heh.

I'm not comfortable with a stand-alone edition of "Demonsong." At a mere 7k words, that would seem like a rip off. I'd rather make it a free download.

A wonderful idea. This is why you are The Man.

I got that one on Ebay too. It was surprisingly cheap. Probably because there was no mention of fpw, Demonsong, or first printing in the listing anywhere. Whatever happened to "marketing"? Their loss is my gain.

You are, as always, exceedingly gracious, Paul.

Thanks for reminding me about Heroic Fantasy. Just found it on Albris for $2.50 where half of the authors names were misspelled. now I can finally read Demonsong
