bones weep tedium Wrote:I thought that the reason Wolverine was able to survive such extreme surgery was becasue of his mutant healing power . . . ? How come all these other people (like the girly with the fingernails in X-Men 2) and this Cyber guy have undergone similar treatments?
Do you know what about the role Ryan Reynolds is playing? Is he a mutant too....?
Lady Deathstrike has a mutant healing factor and so does Cyber, though I don't believe either is as fast as Wolverine's. Deadpool's is faster than anyone's. As a matter of fact, he wears that mask because his healing factor is so in overdrive that his face looks disfigured. It would take something on par with a nuclear explosion to kill him.
Cyber actually died (not from the adamantium process). But his ability was so strong he was able to 'survive' death and acquire the body of a mutant with the mind of a child and suppress his personality. He found someone to put the adamantium back on his skin, but it's not known how he survived the process without the healing factor.
But Cyber is such a cool bad guy. I would have loved for him to have been in the movie. He gouged out Wolverine's eye and he ran away.
