Yeah I can't wait for this movie just because of gambit and deadpool. It should be pretty good.

Gambit looked good. Was the baddie in black Sabretooth? I thought he was supposed to be huge . . . ?

I am looking forward to watching this. I liked the first X-Men movie, was thoroughly unimpressed with X-Men 2 and haven't even bothered watching X-Men 3 yet.

I accidentally dropped a load of worthless change in the street. I was going to just leave it there but a burly policeman lumbered towards me and said, "You'd better pick that up, son."

Apparently, Liev Schreiber is Sabretooth. I get the change, but I don't necessarily like it. They wanted someone with some actual acting chops rather than a wrestler who only knew how to growl. Sabretooth is a big Wolverine villain, but there were some other options, including baddies from Wolverine's past. I would have preferred Cyber. He was Logan's commander when they were both in WWI, I think and he underwent the same process as Logan except he had his skin covered in adamantium, rather than his bones. And Wolverine is actually afraid of him because of this weird psychic ability Cyber has.

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

I thought that the reason Wolverine was able to survive such extreme surgery was becasue of his mutant healing power . . . ? How come all these other people (like the girly with the fingernails in X-Men 2) and this Cyber guy have undergone similar treatments?

Do you know what about the role Ryan Reynolds is playing? Is he a mutant too....?

Ryan Reynolds will be playing Deadpool, another Marvel character. I guess he won't be as nutty as he is in his comic book, though (he actually knows he is a comic book character.)

Lady Deathstrike has a mutant healing factor and so does Cyber, though I don't believe either is as fast as Wolverine's. Deadpool's is faster than anyone's. As a matter of fact, he wears that mask because his healing factor is so in overdrive that his face looks disfigured. It would take something on par with a nuclear explosion to kill him.

Cyber actually died (not from the adamantium process). But his ability was so strong he was able to 'survive' death and acquire the body of a mutant with the mind of a child and suppress his personality. He found someone to put the adamantium back on his skin, but it's not known how he survived the process without the healing factor.

But Cyber is such a cool bad guy. I would have loved for him to have been in the movie. He gouged out Wolverine's eye and he ran away.

I didnt realise that so many characters had mutant healing powers. It kinda spoils Wolverine a bit that he isnt unique.

Deadpool has to wear a mask becasue his mutant healing power makes him hideously disfigured --- no wonder they chose Ryan Reynolds to play Deadpool then. Wink

This trailer looks pretty damn cool. I've always liked Liev Schreiber and I think he's gonna make a pretty kick ass Sabertooth.

I never got into comic books as a kid so I don't know much about the X-Men except what I've read in recent years since the firt movie and a random comic book here and there. I don't even know who Gambit is, even though I've heard the name.
