*shrug* everyone has their favorite points. Ian Flemings books had a serious James Bond that makes all the ones from the movies look pathetic. He created the series, I'd think he probably had an idea of what Bond should be like.

Jamo Wrote:well, I didn't read the long review and all your answers, but How can someone like that movie?!?!!

Sorry, it is so bad! Casino Royal has not been a real "Bond" but a half good action movie. The new Bond is neither a Bond nor a good action movie. One of the worst movies I've seen in the last months... really... The story, the cuts, the erotic... nothing.
And I dislike Daniel Craig ^^

Today was the opening day at Japan. So I went to a theatre see Quantum of Solace. I enjoyed it. It was much better than Casino Royal. Craig's portrayal of the spy as a cold and emotionless character is a brave move. Action scenes were exciting. Too speedy, too hard. Also too much killings.

And some scenes reminded me of old Bond movies. Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and The Living Daylights.

Opening song by Alicia Keys & Jack White was not good.
