Did anyone notice that the first few chapters of By the Sword are exactly word for word the same as the first jack section of Nightworld? Any ideas or thoughts as to why FPW would do that? Ive almost all of his work and this is the first time that ive ever seen him (or anyother author) basically copy a section of one book and paste it in another. would love to hear any ideas or thoughts on what might be brewing.

repairman jack is my hero.

Its not word for word, but it was due to the revisions in Nightworld and the changes in the Adversary Cycle Universe due to the Jack Series

WHat Legion said. Jack has to know Glaeken before Nightworld, so I've shifted the meeting to By the Sword. The vast majority of Jack's current readership hasn't read the old Nightworld, so only the cognoscenti will recognize it.

FPW your stuff is just to good not to read! I think that anyone who really likes repairman jack should read all the books, espically the adversary cycle to know the whole story. All the books compliment eachother, plus it helps with picking up the little hints and clues you drop in every repairman jack book.

thanks again for the insight.

I hope to be an old timer by the end of this year, and I am much younger than you.Big Grin:pWink
