Well, the last time I saw a program on television was around mid June . . . of 1987. Big Grin

I can barely tolerate commercials so I watch most of my TV on DVD these days. Last season I was determined to watch a show for an entire season for the first time in ages and I chose Reaper. I made a good choice; it is quite funny and I thought the story evolved into something pretty cool as the season progressed and ended with many unresolved issues. As I understand it, the show has been picked up for a second season, but not a full one. Regardless I am looking forward to seeing whatever they have.

Can we wish for old series that are no longer on? If so then I'd vote for "Twin Peaks" and Babylon 5. For current shows I'm eager for "Lost" and "BSG" and I think that's it.

Also. Though for me it's been since about 1992. Once you get out of the habit, it's much easier to see just how awful most tv programming really is.

I do sometimes like to watch early episodes of The Andy Griffith Show on TVLand. The very early episodes with Barney are actually quite funny, still. In fact, I never really appreciated Don Knotts as a comic actor until I saw some of those classic shows. He made that show great in its first years.
