Another Gia possibility

Katherine Heigl is 31 this year...and has one of the most fake smiles in Hollywood (it took me 1/2 hour to find a picture of her that looked genuine). Good thing she can act.

How about Michael Moore as Jack, and Moore in drag as Gia?

Ignore Mike...he's silly.

Decent casting choice...except for the fact that Viggo's 51 this year and Jack is 33-35.

Viggo might be an excellent choice for Glaeken, however.

Keep em coming, Mossman.

Another 2 possible Gia candidates:

Becky Newton is 28 this year and could play the mother of an 8 year old...but she's a little on the small side at 5'2"

Natalie Portman is 28 this year, has lost the waif-look and is maturing nicely...she'd make a great Gia, if a little small at 5'3". Creepy fact: Portman's mother was an artist from Ohio! There are NO more coincidences!

Natalie Portman 28!!!!! Blimey, doesn't seem that long ago that she was in Leon.

Crap actress though.

Katie Holmes is too ugly to play Gia.

How about Jennifer Connelly? Very good actress.

Agreed.

Tell THAT to all the people that claim actresses like Melissa George are too beautiful for Gia! Gia should be a knockout as far as I'm concerned.

Jennifer Morose Connelly is about 10 years too old for Gia, at age 39.

Silad, welcome to middle age, where you wake up one morning and every actress you liked growing up is is also middle aged, now, too. Speaking from personal experience, its weird, I know.

How about Katheryn Winnick. She's 31 and reportedly has a black belt in Tae Kwan Do and Karate so she can hold her own in an action flick. As for her acting ability I've only seen her in an episode of House called "One Day, One Room" and she was fantastic.

Great choice, Sam. I recommended her a month ago (but typo-ed her first name) as one of the Canadian Gia candidates. IMDB says she will be 32 this year, but NorthernStars says she's only 30 this year. Neither site has the month or day of her birth, just a year.

PersephonesLove figures she looks too old, but I think she looks just the right age. Here's the pic I used:

Her most memorable role I've seen is Going The Distance, a little Canadian sex-drive (sort-of) movie that is worth seeing.

Heh.

Did she ever find her barrettes, in "Heat"?

I'm not surprised that she has been mentioned already. I believe I've only seen her in that House episode, but that was enough for me to recognize her talent. She has that ability to make you believe she isn't acting. She knows how to bring a character to life, I guess. And she certainly doesn't look too old for the part. She has a mature beauty for her age. Personally, she's my favorite for the part.
