Sam Wrote:I'm not surprised that she has been mentioned already. I believe I've only seen her in that House episode, but that was enough for me to recognize her talent. She has that ability to make you believe she isn't acting. She knows how to bring a character to life, I guess. And she certainly doesn't look too old for the part. She has a mature beauty for her age. Personally, she's my favorite for the part.
Agreed, she's definitely top-5.

Heigl- bitch
Viggo- oldy but goody
Natalie- good

Oooh, Seph's in a spicy mood today!

persephoneslove Wrote:Elizabeth- the other one i saw of her was a different pic so, nyah!
I consider myself properly told.

persephoneslove Wrote:Rachel- i thought it was charlize theron in simone?
Nope, it was her.

persephoneslove Wrote:Florance- good look, but blinde?
I don't think she's blind and I couldn't find a picture of her as a blonde.

persephoneslove Wrote:Eliza Dushku- reaching a bit much, wip?
I always liked her wry sense of humour.

persephoneslove Wrote:Minka- looks like she just got off work [the all night kind]
ROTFLMAO.

persephoneslove Wrote:Kristy- waht's with all the red lipstick suddenly?
Search me. I don't know jack about lipstick.

persephoneslove Wrote:Ricci- perhaps
Molly Stanton- wasn't she on passions?
Yes, that's the actress from Passions.

persephoneslove Wrote:Katie Holmes - I will KILL her first
Me-OW!

Me-OW!

persephoneslove Wrote:Viggo- oldy but goody
Agreed.

persephoneslove Wrote:Natalie- good
Becky- good
I put Natalie out there due to her being "known" and the right age, but I can't say I like her much as an actress. I'd prefer Ricci.

persephoneslove Wrote:Jennifer- too old but nice try
Agreed.

persephoneslove Wrote:Winnick- She looks better in this pic, cause the one I remember seeing she had big ol lines around her eyes
It's ok, you're just rememberring it wrong.

persephoneslove Wrote:Suggestions for more background characters cause we've beaten the Gia bush to death?
Agreed. I'm done with Gia candidates.

Who should we focus on this time?

i think that nathan fillion would be the perfect jack. in case you dont know who he is he was the main character in serenity and he plays Castle on the tv show...um..well he plays as castle from castle. anyone else think so or no?

Welcome, Jmez87. You'll like it here.

My fellow Canuck, Nathan Fillion, has appeared in every Jack-movie thread on this board, and there have been a few. He was originally suggested as Jack by Ken Valentine back in September 2006.

If they had made the movie back in 2006 Nathan would have been 35 years old and almost perfect for the role.

Unfortunately he's now 38. Since filming won't begin in the near future, he'll be a little too long in the tooth to play Jack (who's about 33 in The Tomb).

I think that the Fillion of Firefly would be a good choice, but I've never seen him go psycho in anything. Jack needs to be able to go O-DNA on someone's butt, believably.

I like the way you're thinking, though, Jmez87.

If I remember right, Jack was 35 in THE TOMB, and Nathan showed a pretty good dark side in SERENITY.

If the movie was to be made pretty soon, I still think he would be a really good RJ.

True, but filming will probably not begin until 2011 at the earliest, making Nathan 40, yet Ryan Reynolds will only be...that's right...35.

Desmond Harrington, another popular Jack-possibility on this thread, is 4 days older than Ryan Reynolds, so he'd still be an option, as well.

I'd rather have a 33-35 year old Jack who can do multiple sequels rather than a 40 year old guy who will be 50 by the time the 5th or 6th movie comes out.

Nathan's good, but time is not on his side in this one.

Greetings all, been away for awhile, and was just wondering (without having to read this entire forum, which has grown exponentially since my last visit) has anyone narrowed down a good choice for Rasalom?
Currently, I can't seem to think of anyone that fits my mental image of him from all the AC and RJ novels.

Still no better Rasalom suggestions (for an evil looking 35 year old guy) than Zach Quinto (Syler from Heroes) or Julian McMahon (from Nip Tuck) who is quite old, at 41, to pass for 35. Josh brolin was also mentioned but he is the same age as McMahon and looks like he has a couple 100,000 more miles of hard road under his belt.

So thrill us with a new suggestion Srem.

As Persephone suggested, we now move on to possibilities for another character...this one is for Jack.

Just saw this actor's picture by fluke the other day. He's 29 this December and is relatively unknown, having parts in 3 episodes of Cashmere Mafia (TV) from last year and 6 movies in 08/09; 4 of those films are being released this year.
