Nice pics, Wapitikev!

Natasha Henstridge (34 years old, played in Species) to play Gia in any future RPJ movies.
She's tall, slender, blonde, and with short hair fits the image of Gia I've had stuck in my head for quite some now...

Good choice, Srem. Right in line with the Canadian theme I have going (Newfoundland, '74). Visually, she fits, but I always found her a little distant...I picture Gia as warmer/more nurturing since most of her scenes are with Vicky.

She'll be 35 in August. That's a little too old to pull of 28/29. Theron or Winslet (my two high-profile favourites) are already 33 this year; they're actaully too old. (Jack is that age in the Tomb and Gia is supposed to be more than a couple of years younger than he is).

That's why I'm choosing actresses that are 27-31...by the time filming starts they'll be close to the right age.

Not really how I picture Gia, but she's sure easy on the eyes.

I finally saw, The uninvited, and a chance to Eliabeth Banks in something other than a comedy. I thought she did fantastic, brought an element of susspenseful suspicion to her role, and I am eager to see evn while I now wonder how she would do as a motherly and warmer woman. Sorry for the run-on. I remeber seeing a vote for Anna Paquin way back on this thread and I am of the opinon that she wouldnt do Gia proud. Well, sorry Ive gone a while folks, like any body missed me really..lol Ive just been trying to balance my responsibiliites and not go nuts with my tax return. The only thing Ive bought thus far has been my very first cell phone plan. Nothing special just a basic plan and all its amenities. I vote for Elizabeth Banks as Gia, in short..peace..

ghaleon..What is it you can see that I do not??For where you can see hope and a future, I see only despair!

Great choice, Scott (I haven't gotten to the "P"s yet). She'll be 27 this June. Has she ever played a blonde?

Then again, who cares...I prefer brunettes anyway.

Seriously, though, I've only seen her in Stick It and a couple of episodes of Heroes...does she have that "smile that brightens up a room" that Gia is supposed to have? She strikes me as a better smirker than a smiler.

We always miss you Ghaleon. Love the avatar BTW.

Elle Banks is a great choice and has worked with Reynolds but she has the same problem that a number of other great choices have...too many summers. She'll be 35 this year and I had trouble suspending disbelief that she was 28 in Zack and Miri...so a couple of years from now (assuming RJ filming even starts this year) she will definitely be too old to pass for 28-30.

But then again, so may my other favourites for Gia (Kate Winslet, Charlize Theron and Melissa George) who will all turn 33 this year.

Of course, my (past) favourite under 30 choice for Gia, who has also worked with Reynolds before, will be 27 this year...

[sigh]

So the search for younger Gia favourites continues...

I think Amy Kerr and Malin Ackerman are rounding out my top three, so far, but there are many more choices to come.

Hey Wapitikev, Charlize Theron is another good one!

I know this may be going out on a limb, but here's a young woman who turns 29 in April, and has a very warm, nurturing side to her as well (she's kind of goofy in real life, but I think she could pull Gia off ok)...

(She plays "Starbuck/Kara Thrace" in the new Battlestar Galactica series)

The picture didn't copy correctly on the first try, but I got it to work on this one.
Anyways, "Katee Sackhoff" as Gia...
