Ding Ding Ding! You are correct, sir.
To explain, the great Irish actor Jack MacGowan, who played Squire Danaher's lackey ("Right you are, squire!) in John Ford's "The Quiet Man", played the director in "The Exorcist", who was killed by the demon Pazuzu inside the body of Regan. At the cocktail party thrown by Regan's mom in Georgetown, MacGowan's character makes a drunken comment about there being an "alien pubic hair" on his drink. Anita Hill, in her congressional testimony about future Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, claimed Thomas made the same statement to her as part of the sexual harassment she claimed. The supporters of both Thomas and Hill later cited "The Exorcist" as the source of the controversial comment.
So it's all simple, really.
Oh, and the opening scenes were filmed in Baghdad.
Whew.
Over to you, Bones Weep Tedium.
