I never even noticed that new button, Libby. Thanx. I'm still blinded by the plethora o'smilies.

[weeps for the era when html-like coding was necessary for black bars]

Heh.

AHEM! The name is Lind-NER, Wap. And my voice is smooth and deep, as Paul, Maggers, Cobalt, and Xamber can attest. Kinda like Lou Rawls, but more soulful.:p

That's not how I remember your voice. I thought it was kind of high pitched with a slight lisp.

Reading is freedom.
The mind soars, no earthly cares,
no limitations.
A Maggers Haiku, 2005

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
You may quote me.

That was just for a couple of sentences, when I was doing my Michael Jackson impression.

I thought it was a very witty, AND accurate, response.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Humble apologies, fellow Avengers fan.

Axioms Jack seems to live by (inadvertantly or not):

Why he does what he does: "I chose this life. I know what I'm doing. And on any given day, I could stop doing it. Today, however, isn't that day. And tomorrow won't be either." Bruce Wayne, Identity Crisis

On Rasalom: "Water's wet, the sky is blue...and good old Satan Claus, Jimmy...he's out there...and he's just gettin' stronger." Joe Hallenbeck, The Last Boyscout

KRW --- am I wrong?

I accidentally dropped a load of worthless change in the street. I was going to just leave it there but a burly policeman lumbered towards me and said, "You'd better pick that up, son."

I hate coppers.

Nightworld is Jack's futer and the othernesses future, they don't know yet.

You'd think that Killing people would make them like you, but it doesn't! it just makes people dead.

You were wondering why the ally kept testing Jack if his fate is written. It is not written in Jacks world, and nightworld hadn't happened yet, so the ally still needs to test Jack.
