If I never see the name Joel Schumacher involved with any Jack movie it will be too soon. You're right...Batman Forever (with Kilmer) was a portent of things to come and then he let Swarzenegger practically re-write Batman and Robin...and we all know how that turned out.

...was reading, in another thread, that The Relic was unlike the book (it left Pendergast out, etc.)
So what about a remake of The Relic and then doing the sequel, Reliquary.
They could be filmed back-to-back to save money, using the same actors.
Heck, with a corrected script, Peter Hyams could even direct The Relic again...you know...as an apology for the first version.

As much as I like the origanal, I wouldn't mind "Brewster's Millions" redone. The original amount he would have to spend would be a lot higher in todays market.

And there is so much more accessibility nowadays, via both global travel and online shopping, etc. If done right, it could be good..... but what are the odds?
