Did anybody mention Zack Snyder? He's got the Dawn of the Dead remake, 300, and now the Watchmen. I thought the Dawn remake was great, and I think he would stay true to the book.

He's a relative newcomer and I give him credit for tackling "the unfilmable graphic novel" but I'm going to wait and see.

The Last Photograph (2010) road trip to Afghanistan (maybe Sig will star)
Untitled 300 Sequel (2010) based on forthcoming Frank Miller graphic novel
Cobalt 60 (2011) NOT based on the life of the RJ Boardmember Cobalt79...actually based on the comic by Vaughn Bode.
