AsMoral Wrote:Yes, I watched GHI. It was okay. I am not big on the crew they assembled. I was thrilled when Grant and Jason got rid of Brian Harnois, he annoyed the hell out of me. Now he is back and global.
The guy from Ireland gets on my last nerve as well, he seems to find something paranormal in every corner. I guess I just like the skepticism of Grant and Jason during the investigation and this new group seems too optimistic. I'll give it few episodes before I abandon it.
I am with you on the Brian Harnois thing. He bugs the turds out of me as well. The Irish guy is bad too, your right he finds supernatural in everything and is such an extreme spook it just removes all objectivity on his part.
The controlled skepticism of Jason and Grant is what makes the original Ghost Hunters work for me, they look at things from all angles and then try to figure out what things are.
Although my wife and I think the scenes with Harnois and the Irish guy working together as a team on investigations makes for some freaking funny stuff. A butterfly could fly by and the Irish guy (Barney?...B B something with a B I think Barry maybe?) would start saying "Back away, its an angry elemental, whoa...whoa....back away...back away..." and Harnois would say "Dude run!!!".
Ah well, I was really hoping for better from this series like I said, so many awesome sites, such a crappy team. At least the original is back with new episodes soon.
