Britfan Wrote:I guess this quite popular in the US now as that is when it was aired in the UK as well

I'm liking this series a lot, despite it's general weirdness!
I just started watching Dr. Who and I love it! My favorite companion is Captain Jack....Big Grin

You'd think that Killing people would make them like you, but it doesn't! it just makes people dead.

Dr Who made John Barrymore very popular over here, I had never heard of him before.

Now you can't turn a TV on on a Saturday night without him as the judge on some inane talent show

This series is certainly scoring highly on the weird shit scale

I'm sure it would make more sense after a split (or at least 8 pints Hobgoblin)

I think Torchwood is coming back as well. I got to like it but it took a while. And I did see the Torchwood Range Rover in Cardiff once. You can see why they mostly film it at night! All cracked filler and peeling paintwork. If you saw it on a used car lot you'd just walk past and try and find something decent.

Regarding John Barrowman and "talent" shows I heard Denise Van Outen interviewed about being on a judging panel with him (can't remember what show it was, Strictly Come Cooking or some such stuff) and she said he used to keep getting his bits out to show her between acts! I have to say she wasn't bothered but apparently he has a keen, if slightly odd, sense of humour.

If I showed my bits to Denise Van Outen (which I might!) I would probably just get arrested. Oh to be famous!

Well, I've never seen one do THAT before

Oh, I should add (too lazy to edit) I am something of a fan of John Barrowman's. He sings, he dances a bit, he acts and he's nearly as good looking as I am.

And also a very nice chap.

Well, I've never seen one do THAT before

I don't know about eight but, trust me on this, six doesn't help!

Maybe it will start to make sense this week

I wonder if the kid who is going to be born turns out to be the Dr's wife (River)

'cos with time travel all sorts of weird shit can happen!
