Is the writers strike also an excuse for the delay of MGS4? I don't own a PS3, yet, but that game would likely be Sony's salvation.

I don't have much faith in an MGS movie adaptation. No videogame has made the translation very well to movies. And, MGS is too convoluted a story to be adapted well.

Don't forget Double Dragon, Streetfighter, Mortal Kombat, and Hitman. Big Grin

The Resident Evil films aren't too bad, however for people looking for a true adaptation from the game the movies were a let down.

I have little faith in a Metal Gear Solid film as well...I just don't see it being able to compare to the game. And who would play Solid Snake?

I actually thought the "Silent Hill" movie was kinda creepy.

Yep, it was creepy!

But the story was very sad.

I hate Streetfighter movie. Feels silliness.

I like Resident Evil (first film).

But I'm looking forward to MGS the movie.

Ah I knew I forgot one, but probably because Silent Hill was good, I thought. Yeah it was creepy and the scenary (with all the ash coming down like snow) was pretty cool.

I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil Series of movies. They are well made, and have a great story line.

The rest, I will agree though... Meh ... garbage.
