Ladies and Gents, this has got to be the greatest graphic novel series of all time! Please let there be someone who agrees with me! I've been a huge fan of Warren Ellis ever since I picked up Stormwatch, and I thoroughly recommend Transmet to everyone. FPW and everyone on here, if you read this thread grab a copy of 'Back On The Streets' and let me know what you think.<p>

Hi Ben - totally agree with you re: Transmet!
I read every copy as they came out - shame it finished but it was a natural, sensible place to stop and I was pleased no other writer took over. I hate when a series goes on too long such as 100 Bullets - it was initially amazing but now I'm close to cancelling it because it's just not ringing my bell anymore. Hellblazer is still well worth a read though, just ignore the whole Brian Azzarello (sp?) debaucle though...
Of the newer mags, Human Target and and Andy Diggle's Swampy are both excellent

Good to know there's more fans out there! I must admit I've only been picking up the graphic novel collections, so I haven't read the last part yet... The comic shops near me suck (and there aren't many), so I have to rely on amazon who keep changing the delivery date of 'One More Time', Good news is they're releasing the Stand-Alone stories as a collection in October.
Have you tried 'Stormwatch' and 'The Authority'? They are very cool and have a great Superheroes-as-regular-people kind of feel to them that is very refreshing.

I absolutely loved The Authority when Ellis and then Millar wrote it. Robbie Morrison's stuff leaves a lot to be desired!!
If you're having hassle with getting comics then try Gosh! who do an excellent mail-order service. I live in a fairly remote wee village in Scotland with no comic shops nearby and these guys have been brilliant

Cool, I'll give them a go. Give Stormwatch a try, if you haven't already. Another personal favourite is "Johnny The Homicidal Maniac" by Jhonen Vasquez, its a great black comedy series.
