Wapitikev Wrote:Apparently they are going to selectively sample from the first movie for this new one.

So, while it's not a sequel, it's not the story of how he first becomes the Hulk either.

Plus, if memory serves, Banner's front door, in the trailer, is the same one as his house in the first movie.

So, given that overwhelming evidence, I will call it a sequel, but in the hopes that everyone who disliked the first one will decide to go and see this one, Marvel is calling it "NOT a sequel".

...the un-sequel, if you will.

Heh.

Maybe I'm just trying to repress the other one .... which I actually kinda liked until Nick Nolte became .... became .....

God...Bruce Banner is hiding out in South America...

I see a movie opportunity!

Bruce Banner is in hiding with a small tribe somewhere in the Amazon, when he gets caught in the middle of a major temper meltdown.

While he is converting into the Hulk, he gets swarmed by mosquitoes.

The mosquitoes, ill-tempered to begin with, become Hulk mosquitoes, and swarm the rest of the tribe, converting all of them into Hulks.

South America becomes infested with Hulks, both human and mosquito.

Fortunately, the Hulk infection is only transmittable to humans and mosquitos, or it could be the end of the world as we know it.

My wife and I saw Ironman last weekend and we both liked it a lot. It was much better than I expected. So, I recommend it. I'm not a particular fan of Paltrow either, but I thought she was good in this.

No she wasn't and neither was Bridges, but I'm still not putting them on my must see list. The best supporting actor was Tony's robot arm though, I'd watch him in anything.

...and, despite his bumbling antics Robot Arm was the biggest hero in the entire show;
saving Tony when he was too weak to reach his old heart-power-supply thingy and was about to die!
Go robot arm!

I saw INDIANA JONES, PRINCE CASPIAN, and IRONMAN so far this weekend. Of the three, I liked IRONMAN best, followed by PRICE CASPIAN, and far, far behind either one lags INDIANA JONES.

I know nothing about the Ironman comic books, so whether or not the story is true to anything, I don't know. I just am a sucker for big hulking machines that stomp around and make that super loud bass sound that vibrates the theater, and DAMN Robert Downey, Jr. is HOT and he's a fine actor. He's super fine in IRONMAN.

True, Gwyneth Paltrow is wasted, and Jeff Bridges reminded me of an evil Daddy Warbucks. But with RD, Jr. on screen so much, who gives a hoot. Big Grin

I can't wait to see Downey in what is sure to be a silly, probably stupid movie, TROPIC THUNDER. The trailers are pretty funny.

Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

I kept thinking Jeff Bridges looked like Daddy Warbucks, too. However, I saw the movie, liked it, and recommend it.

I only see Jeff Bridges as "The Dude" from the Big Lebowski. However, Robert Downey Jr. was pretty darn good as Tony Stark. Then again, it wasn't much of a stretch for Robert to play that role as it fits his normal lifestyle....

I enjoyed Ironman, and recommend it also.

In Japan, today was the opening day. I said "I'll wait for rental DVD", but...
Okay, I confess. I, actually couldn't wait for DVD since I saw newest trailer! So today I saw it and...yeah, I enjoyed it a lot.

I read Batman, Spider-Man, X-Men, Ghost Rider, but I've never read Iron-Man comics. I didn't know about Tony Stark, I didn't know how he built Iron-Man, so I enjoyed it as a whole new thing.

Robert Downey Jr. was quite good! And Gwyneth Paltrow, she has intelligent beauty. I really like her. Jeff Bridges' bad guy role was excellent. SFX level was like Transformer, but it was better than Robo Cop.

After the ending credit, that was great! Samuel L. Jackson's AVENGERS!!!

Today I saw the trailer of Tropic Thunder. I can't believe that was Robert Downey Jr.! And......of course I won't wait for DVD! Confusedmilewinkgrin:
