Sneaking or not, there are a lot of us that would bawl like unmilked cows if we couldn't get our special editions.

When a special edition arrives in the mail you can bet we're having fun till... oh, you know. Wink

Mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I had way too much going on at once to stop and place an order, sounds stupid but there it is, idiocy is the order of the day. I'm confident I'll manage to find one though, completetist that I am. I have my limiteds and my reading copies of everything else and I am a happy woman. In fact,my collection recently expanded by a few volumes (JOY!), all inscribed as well as limiteds/firsts, and I'd do backflips if I could.

It's like Christmas, only I didn't get any crummy socks this time.

Hi BK -

According to their newsletter, Gauntlet Press had some rare copies of Bloodline left - they had accidentally used a lettered tip sheet for a numbered edition book. These books are still signed by FPW (in red ink, no less - very cool). I ordered one and it's a scream. It says that the "letter" is "89". It also comes with a Bloodline Outline chapbook.

Good luck finding your Bloodline LE!

Well-said. To us (in the FPW "cult", as we were referred to at GU-3) it is "priceless". And to those who might want to invest, it will undoubtedly be worth several times that in future years.

I usually wait for the trade, or if Tony (AC) buys it first, I read his copy. If and when I do purchase the Limited Editions, it's strictly as an investment. Tony purchased the error edition of Harbingers as an investment (only four in existence) and I was tempted to buy the error edition of Bloodline (only seven in existence), but I passed. I know I'll regret it later, but those are the chances you take as an investor/collector.

If you don't want to take chances, wait for the trade or for the paperback and stop complaining. After all, you're complaining to the choir (pardon the mixed metaphor).

What did the cow say to the milk-maid on a frosty morning?

"Thanks for the warm hand."
