fpw Wrote:...should be available in a couple of weeks.
My hommage to pulp fiction - a fun Yellow Peril story with the most lurid title I could think of - will soon be now available from the acclaimed audio series, DARK VOICES. It's read by yours truly and features wonderful background music and f/x by Robert Schaller. The CD comes with a signed chapbook of the story.
I inserted a number of cameo appearances by famous characters; if you can’t identify them you are banned for life from reading anything else I write.

I finally got around to listening to it on my way to South Bend yesterday. You really should consider doing more of this genre (in your spare time).
It's really a treat hearing your familiar voice reading your work. Maybe you could do some more of your short stories in the future. Your falsetto was surprisingly good, as was your Americanized brogue and your Chinese accent.
If there's not enough demand for
mass market audiobooks read by you personally, I'm sure your "cult" following would still justify limited releases like this, where the CD is a
fine addition to the collection of the true devotee.
