The t'other Dave here

We had the last episode of the latest series last Sunday. I think we started after you, but had a shorter mid season break so we caught up.

I never realised we were so close to you guys, so I avoided this thread like the plague until last sunday for fear of spoilers

Cheers

I thought about that, too, but does Dharma know that for sure? I bet cagey Ben has set up some sort of system whereby he can contact Dharma to string them along.

There are several other women amongst the survivors, people we don't know, the Island Extras. I suspect Ben meant any and all of them when he was referencing other possibly pregnant women.

The Dharmas.
The Others.
The Survivers.
And now...The Extras. Big Grin

Throughout this season I've given much thought to The Extras. That interracial older married couple for instance. Didn't they kinda disappear there for a while? And whatever happened to The Other Survivers, the group led by that female cop that no one liked? Have they become part of The Extras?? A mere three years to tie up all the loose ends. I await with patient agony. Sad

The Tailies, as they were called, were the other smaller group of survivors who were lead by the late but not lamented Ana Lucia. The Tailies were:

Ana Lucia, the angry female cop who was shot and killed by Michael.

Liz (?), geez, I've forgotten her name already, the nice quiet blond who was supposed to have been a therapist but may just have been a smart psychiatric patient who shared a psych ward with Hurley and eventually kissed him on the Island. Golly, those Island lives are so entwined. Liz was shot and killed by Michael, too.

Bernard, he's Rose's husband, and they are the interracial couple. They are both alive and well.

The Stewardess, don't know if she had a name, but she was taken by the Others while the Tailies were on their way to the Survivors beach camp. We saw her happily putting up tents with the Others when Locke joined up with them this season.

Mr. Eko, my beloved Mr. Eko...he was the awesomely muscled faux priest whose brother's body was found in the downed plane, which, when it crashed for the second time, also killed ... what's his name...the blond, Paris Hilton wannabe's brother. Golly, those Island lives are so entwined.

There was also short-lived Tailie who was first thrown into a pit by Ana Lucia and then killed by one of the Others who had infiltrated the Tailies. That Other was eventually killed by Ana Lucia.

All in all, the Tailies were a tragic group.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

Libby, Cindy and Boone, respectively.

I knew we were four days behind so I always logged on to catch up with the gossip on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only.
It's so hard to avoid spoilers for this show. I stopped looking at Lost websites months ago simply because a lot of people out there don't seem to care that they spoil things for others who don't want to know what's going to happen. I think we we're lucky here in Sunny England, in that we didn't even get a clip of the following week's episode and so got to watch it totally without spoilers.

As other Dave says above, we are. But I don't have Sky (where it has been shown), so watched it through nefarious means. Smile

You're the reason I got hooked on VM but I stopped watching this season because it was... well let's face it... shit. Complete and utter shit. At least in my opinion. What did you think of this season?

And am I the only one who was disappointed to hear Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip was canceled? What a superb show!
