I don't know if this is my brain finding connections where none exist, but way back in (I think) season one, when Hurley is talking to someone in an office (sorry, can't remember who) about the cursed numbers, someone falls past the window. Is it assumed that this was Locke?

I can't believe I forgot that! It was John. You can tell by how he fell. I totally forgot about that scene until you said it and now I remember it clearly, almost. Wasn't he wearing his island clothes in that scene, but then different clothes on Thursday?

Yeah, there are lots of things like that people survive that scientists say they shouldn't be able to. FPW wrote about something like that. Although it was with a little boy named Danny Gordon and he didn't fall. But same principle. And now I know that if I ever go parachuting (ha ha, I'm acrophobic) then I'd go over a huge area of bushes in case my parachute's don't open.

It could be Locke. He fell from what looked like a residential building, from his father's apartment. And Hurley was meeting with his accountant in an office. But what the heck, who else has fallen like that, and on this show, all things are connected. Besides, Hurley's meeting could have taken place in a building across the street from Locke's father's apartment building.
Interestingly, the conversation that Hurley was having with his accountant at the very moment the falling man passed the window happened to be about Hurley owning a significant portion of stock in a box making company, which is, of course, where Locke worked. Now how's that for coincidence?

LOL! I watch each episode several times, so details that are missed on the first viewing eventually surface. There are so many details crammed in each frame that it takes several viewings to catch it all, and I'm sure I missed lots of things....like the fact that it was Locke who fell while Hurley was watching.
