** Possible Spoilers for anything up to and including Harbingers **

Been thinking about what might be in the upcoming Bloodline and I bet I'm not the only one. Wink

Based on the title...

I'm sure we'll see more of Diana and the Yeniceri (whatever is left of them).

I'm also thinking this is the book where Jack and Glaeken will meet. In a bit of really wild speculation, I've been wondering if maybe there is a familial connection between Jack and Glaeken. Why else would Jack have been selected as an Heir before he ever became "Repairman Jack"? Ok, maybe it isn't a direct line - I think I recall reading that Glaeken never fathered any children, but do we know that he didn't have any siblings? Maybe Jack and Glaeken are of the same family.

And it might just be wishful thinking, but maybe we will also learn more about the Ladies with Dogs. They also seem to have a "bloodline" connection of some sort.

Seems like I had other ideas, but it's late and I can't think of them just now. So anybody else care to speculate?

Ok, I'll bite.

R and G are siblings, twins or father & son.

If you're talking weird, then Jack is a direct desendant from Rasalom.

I did that in my parody of NightWorld - DisneyWorld. Big Grin

It would be nice to see Paul finally drawing inspiration from the master...

I jest!!!!!! Please, stop hitting me.

I had hoped something would happen with the baby (not involving her death) considering she had been 'touched' by the Otherness in The Haunted Air. Jack being a blood relative of Rasalom isn't far off, I don't think. Remember he was reborn in New Jersey. Jack is from New Jersey. Considering there are 'no more coincidences' it's within reason. The Ally has already gone after Gia and Vicky, killed his father and sister, taken his brother. There are other relatives.

Oh, I think Jack's brother is alive. Maybe there's a contingent of humans who've managed to survive over there and he gets a message back to Jack. Just imagine what he did for Jack. RJ might be inclined to respond in kind to bring him back, if for no other reason than to give a big f*ck you to the Ally and the Otherness.

And Jack is going to stumble over another one of those... things like the Lilitongue.

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

Hmmm, you are forcing me to think before adequate caffienation, but... What year were Rasalom and Jack born? The same, maybe? (ok now I've got that tv theme Cousins...identical cousins.... running in my head).
Perhaps during that huge flash of Otherness that smacked Monroe and surrounding communities upside the head, the Ally managed to sneak a lil something in too. Where's our trusty map of NJ, let's watch the turnpike for cities around exits 5&6....
Maybe Mr Canelli wasn't really Mr Canelli- he was Jack's first Fix after all. He kept them up during college, it wasn't until his mom died he went bug *f nuts...( I absolutely loved that line!).
the title Bloodline alone tells us this is all about geneaolgy- whose exactly though is debatable.
Jack doesn't have any more family the Ally can prune off, or does he? There are Kate's kids, but since he doesn't spend a lot of time socializing anyway..
What about Gia's family, conspicuously absent throughout the books.?
I don't think we're goig to see so much of the Yencieri in this, they are a wee bit peeved with ole Jack right now, so prob not so much about Diana's line. We already know the Occuli (is that the right term?) descend from each other, but maybe Jack's family had a rogue Occulus or something.

It scares me when Paul says things like "weirder than that". Be afraid. be very afraid.

I agree with Webby - hope Glaeken makes himself known

Also have we heard the last of the Rakosh running wild in the Barrens

We must be reaching roughly the time when Freakshow takes place - will there be an RJ crossover?

I hope there is space for a traditional RJ fixit

I think FPW should throw us a real curveball in one of the books & do a story based mainly around a couple of non otherness related fixes
